Evaluation (Still Finishing This)

In groups of four, we were set a task to re-create at least thirty seconds of a music video. Our group decided to reconstruct the first 30 seconds of Labrinth’s single ‘Treatment’. We discussed and decided who we would use as our actors and which job would be allocated to whom. We then created a production plan clarifying which locations we would use and also what props we would need. As well as how we could reconstruct the correct type of lighting and what shots we would need (cinematographically related) My role was to do part of the camera work and scene setting within the theatre. Grace and I did half the filming in her house and I helped with the editing. Javanna’s role was mainly to be in charge of scene setting and lights co-ordinator when filming in the theatre and also help with editing. Sydney’s role was to do part of the camera work and to be the main director when filming in the theatre. Sydney also helped out with lighting at Grace’s house and helped with editing.

Most of the filming was done at Grace’s house on the night before the deadline day as we realised our previous filming was useless. There were no outtakes, instead we decided to film throughout the whole process and just edit the parts we wanted out of the recordings. This is a mistake I have learned from as when I do my moving media text I am going to be more organised and get the shots I need with some outtakes.
